燃气具CE认证适用欧盟燃气具指令GAD 2009/142/EC（原燃气指令为90/396/EEC.修改时间为2009年1月5日）。
燃气具适用指令及范围为：以气体燃料为主要能源用于烹饪、加热、热水、制冷、照明或洗涤的器具及用于这些器具的安全控制部件或组件，如果器具含有水来工作，则水正常工作的温度不超过105OC。纯工业过程用途的燃气燃烧设备不属于燃气具指令范围。—– 燃气指令仅仅针对家用和商用以气体形式燃烧的器具或者零部件（非工业）。所有和燃气的控制，调节，安全有关的零部件必须要有单独的CE认证。
锅炉能效指令 Boiler Efficiency 92/42/EEC——以液态燃料或气态燃料为主要能源、以水为热传递媒介、额定输出功率在4kW和400kW之间的器具为锅炉能效指令的产品范围。一般燃气热水器、热气壁挂炉都适用锅炉能效指令。
低电压指令2006/95/EC（LVD)——额定输入电压在50～1000Vac或75～1500Vdc的普通电器产品均应适用低电压指令的要求。燃气具产品如果使用了市电给控制电路供电，则该产品同时也要满足低电压指令即电气安全的要求。
电磁兼容性指令204/108/EC（EMC)——普通电器产品均适用电磁兼容性指令。燃气具产品如果使用了控制电路控制燃气供给，不管这个控制电路是由市电还是干电池供应电能，产品都应该满足电磁兼容性指令的要求。
燃气具产品符合性评估模块和由模块组成的评估程序
燃气具指令——燃气具指令包含的评估模块有六个，分别称之为：模式B、C、D、E、F和G。由这些模块组成的评估程序有五种，根据产品生产的实际情况和厂商的选择，五种评估程序中的任何一种都能取得CE认证。
锅炉能效指令——类似于燃气具指令，但少了模式F和G。共有四个模块：模式B、C、D和E，三个由评估模块组成的评估程序：B-C、B-D和B-E。
低电压指令、电磁兼容性指令——均可以适用自我声明的方式取得CE标志，但要有相关的产品技术资料备查。

一、燃气整机CE认证：
1、产品使用的燃气种类、额定燃气输入压力、额定热负荷（注意单位）

3、产品的气源连接方式（连接管道气或瓶装气）
4、产品的安装及烟气排放方式
5、产品的爆炸图、气路图、工作原理说明（如果产品不常见）、产品使用说明或说明书
6、多个角度的照片或实物样板
二、对于燃气具产品的安全部件做CE认证：
1、该部件在产品中的作用
2、适用气体种类、压力范围、额定气流量、额定环境温度范围及其他额定的技术参数
3、该部件是否已有认证，提供认证信息（包括认证机构、证书号码、适用标准及其版本）
4、图纸、照片或实物样板
