太阳镜CE认证标准旧标准EN1836被新标准替换更新
太阳镜进行CE认证采取相关的标准是EN 1836:2005《个人眼睛防护——通用太阳镜及墨镜过滤片》，这一标准于2013年9月30日被两项标准：
EN ISO 12311:2013 《个人防护装置——太阳镜及相关装置的测试》;
EN ISO 12312-1:2013《眼部和面部防护——太阳镜和相关护目镜——第1部分常用的太阳镜》替代。
此外，NB EN ISO 12312-2正在制定中。
相较于EN 1836:2005，新的标准在制造商责任等方面没有改变，比如需要保持技术文档;可溯源性；表明其健康和安全要求;贴附CE标志等。不像其他的个人防护装置(Personal Protective Equipment ，PPE)，太阳镜为PPE1类产品。
